Registered Behavior Technician

 

Job description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, primarily children, to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Paid training and certification.

**Responsibilities:**

- Implement behavior management techniques as directed by the BCBA

- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions

- Collect and record data on observable client behavior

- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans

- Collaborate with the BCBA to review client progress and adjust interventions as needed

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

- Support clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments

**Qualifications**

EXPERIENCED OR WILLING TO LEARN:

- Experience working with children preferred

- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies

- Familiarity with special education practices

- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles

- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

- Proficiency in data collection and analysis

- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members

- Experience in medical documentation and maintaining accurate records

- Background in behavioral health or related field is a plus

Pay: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour
